Urban Jungle

In May 2026 we discussed Urban Jungle, a book that argued we should pay much greater attention to nature in cities. A recent PBS documentary series called Shared Planet, shows how people around the world live side by side with plants, insects and wildlife. The first episode is about how cities are bringing nature to the built environment, from oyster reefs in New York harbor to greenery that adorns tall buildings in Singapore.
